Upcoming Photo Club Outings

We are planning two photo club outings in the near future. The first will be Saturday, May 20. Meet at the Coyote Hill parking area at 9:30. This is about 6 miles north on Piedra Rd. Where the pavement ends, you will cross a cattle guard, and the parking area is ON THE RIGHT shortly after that. The valleys are intensely green, the mountains still have snow, and the aspen are getting their “new leaf green”, so conditions are great for landscape photography. We will head further out Piedra Rd to the Williams Creek Reservoir area. Continue reading “Upcoming Photo Club Outings”

The next meeting of the Pagosa Springs Photography Club is March 8th, at the Methodist Church on Lewis Street. Join us for socializing at 6:00 p.m. followed by a brief business meeting at 6:30. Our guest this month will be Rudy Espinoza. He comes to us from Denver with time spent in the Air Force and as a civilian federal fire fighter for 25 years. Rudy became interested in videography when his daughter was a little girl back in 1996. He discovered that combining still photos with corresponding video of an event produces a better presentation.

All photographers and videographers will want to attend in order to combine skills and enhance their craft.

Members are invited to bring 10-15 pictures on a flash drive of their winter activities. Long time photographers and those just starting out are welcome.
