Fall 2017 Meeting Schedule

For your planning purposes, here is a calendar of the planned presentations at the fall 2017 meetings of the Pagosa Springs Photo Club:

Sept 13: Randy McCormick will be giving a presentation on using your photos to give viewers a sense of place: “Sea to Summit – We’re All Connected”, which will feature his photography from the Everglades to the Continental Divide.

Oct 11: John Farley will demonstrate how to use your still photographs to create a video with musical background, using Photo Story. He’ll illustrate using some of his own photos from various travels.

Nov 8: Andy Butler will lead a discussion of ways in which we can make our photos stand out from the billions of other images being created in today’s digital world. This will include the creation of your photographs from visualization, camera technique, to post-processing.

We don’t plan to have a meeting in December. If anyone would like to help plan a group get together/holiday party, please contact me (abutler@mac.com).

We are also beginning to put together a club program schedule for 2018. If you have a subject you’d like to hear about (or present), or know someone outside our club that we might ask for a presentation, let me know. I am hoping that the majority of our programs will continue to contain information/techniques/ideas that will help us all become better photographers, as well as beautiful images to inspire our own creativity.

—Thanks! Andy Butler
