Our October meeting is fast approaching. We will be getting together again at the Methodist Church, 434 Lewis Street, on Wednesday the 12th. Long time member, John Farley, will be sharing and leading a discussion on photos he took on a recent trip to Greece. Start showing up around 6:00 for socializing, followed by a short business meeting at 6:30. John’s presentation will follow. Lastly, time permitting, members can bring 10-12 photos on a thumb drive to share with the group for critique and enjoyment.

Andy Butler will lead the discussion “Editing by Committee” at the Photography Club’s next meeting to be held Wednesday, Sept. 14th in the fellowship room of the United Methodist Church. Join us at 6:oopm for some socializing followed by the meeting at 6:30pm Each member is encouraged to bring a flash drive of 10-12 pictures to share with the group-time permitting. The Photo Club of Pagosa Springs meets on the second Wednesday of every month at the Methodist Church on 434 Lewis Street in downtown Pagosa Springs. On the 10th of August we will begin our meeting with socializing at 6:00 PM and a short business update at 6:30. Our guest speaker this month is Barbra Jetley. She will be sharing her photos and experiences from a recent trip to Okinawa, Japan. There will be time for members to share some of their latest shots with the group, so bring 10-12 photos on a thumb drive for review and critique. See you on the 10th.

Our next meeting will be a week from today on Wednesday, the 13th at the Methodist Church. We start at 6:00 p.m. with set-up and socializing, followed by any updates and new business. We do not have a presentation this session so bring your latest and greatest photos for viewing and critiquing. Hopefully we’ll have some from the waterfall/wildflower’s excursion this Saturday. Our next meeting is Wednesday the 8th at the Methodist Church. Arrive at 6:00 pm for socializing, meeting begins at 6:30. Our speaker will be Tom Peterson, on the ins and outs of model and property releases. And remember to bring a thumb drive with your latest and greatest photos.

Don’t forget photo club members, our next meeting is this Wednesday the 11th of May. We will have snacks provided during the social time in honor of long-time member Al Olsen, who is moving on to greener pastures. Election of officers will be conducted during the business meeting. Bring your cameras, lenses tripods etc. for a “show and tell” type session. Also bring 5-10 fotos on a thumb drive for viewing and critique after the equipment sharing and discussions.
